NEW YORK, NY – On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, simultaneous with the opening of the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, thousands from across the United States will attend a major rally to support the Iranian people’s quest for regime change. The rally will also call on international community for firmness vis-à-vis the oppressive and terror-sponsoring theocracy ruling Iran.

Several prominent speakers, including Senator Joe Lieberman, will address the rally. (More speakers to be announced)

The regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and its president Hassan Rouhani do not represent the Iranian people who have shouted “Death to Khamenei, Death to Rouhani” in the nationwide uprisings, demanding the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime and the establishment of democracy.

The rally will also call on UN member states to impose comprehensive sanctions on the regime for the flagrant violations of human rights, export of terrorism, continued ambitious nuclear and missile program and wreaking havoc in the Middle East region.

WHEN: Tuesday, September 24, 2019, 8:30 am – 11:30 am
WHERE: Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (Across from the UN) 2nd Avenue & 47th Street
