On September 28th and 29th, 2023, Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) held a two day photo exhibition in the Rayburn U.S. House Office Building Foyer to highlight the #1988Massacre and mass killing of pro-democracy protesters in Iran.
The exhibition featured images and stories of the victims as well as a set depicting the infamous “death commission” responsible for the 1988 mass disappearances in Iran. The event and speakers during the 2-day exhibition called for an end to culture of impunity which has permitted these atrocities and urged the free world to hold Iran regime president Ebrahim Raisi and his cohorts accountable for these crimes.”
