On the 102nd day of the nationwide uprising people continued their anti-regime protests in different parts of the country. In mourning ceremonies, held for those killed by the regime’s security forces, protesters chanted slogans against the mullahs, the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), and the paramilitary Basij that are busy harassing and cracking down on any sign of popular protests.

On Monday, workers of the Abadan petrochemical site, southwest Iran, launched a strike, protesting threatening letters sent to their colleagues who have recently participated in protest gatherings. The complex was shut down at around noon local time as a result of the strike.

In Mahabad, northwest Iran locals continued their protests against the regime and established roadblocks and took control of their streets.

In other reports, the students at a school in Saqqez, Mahsa Amini’s hometown, boycotted their classes in solidarity with the ongoing protests across the country.

In the city of Izeh, southwest Iran, locals gathered to mark the 40th day of the murder of 10-year-old Kian Pirfalak by the regime’s security forces. The mourners began chanting anti-regime slogans, including “Death to Khamenei!” and “Khamenei is a murderer! His rule is illegitimate!”

In Dashti, southern Iran, locals marking the 40th day of Hamed Molaie’s murder by the regime’s security forces, chanting, “This is the year Seyed Ali (Khamenei) will be overthrown!”

In a similar ceremony in the city of Sanandaj, locals marked the 40th day of the murder of Aram Habibi by the regime’s security forces and chanted, “Death to Khamenei!”

In Saqqez, locals were seen gathering to mark the 40th day of the murder of Danial Pabandi by the mullahs’ security forces. They also launched an anti-regime rally and chanted, “Death to the dictator!” and “Death to Khamenei!” To further highlight the national unity vis-a-vis   regimes’ divisive plots and policies, chanted: “Kurds-Baluchis-Azeris! Freedom and equality!”

In Isfahan, central Iran, locals targeted a police station in the city’s Vilashahr district.

In Paveh, western Iran, according to social media reports  protesters targeted a base of the regime’s IRGC paramilitary Basij units with hand grenades.

On Sunday, December 25, 2022, the people of Iran continued the revolution for freedom, justice, equality, and a decent life. “Poverty, corruption, high prices; we’re going to overthrow [the regime],” protesters chanted in various cities.

Sounding its concerns over the Iranian Resistance, the regime’s propaganda apparatus IRIB—designated by the U.S. and EU for supporting suppression and terrorism—aired several programs to demonize the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.

The new wave began following the Organization of Iranian American Communities’ summit in Washington, DC. At the event, several prominent personalities, including Mike Pompeo, Gary Locke, Linda Chavez, Sen. Sam Brownback, and Gen. Jack Keane, supported Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, and her ten-point plan for a democratic, secular, non-nuclear republic of Iran.

The summit came after several sessions in the U.S. Senate, the Canadian Parliament, the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, and the UK House of Commons; all declared their support for the NCRI and Mrs. Rajavi.

December 25 marked the 101st day of anti-regime protests in Iran. The demonstrations began following the heinous murder of Mahsa Amini, 22, in police custody. However, it immediately turned into a revolution against the entire theocratic regime.

According to the Iranian opposition Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI), the protests have extended to 280 cities. The regime has killed over 750 citizens, injured tens of thousands, and detained more than 30,000. The MEK has published the names of 601 killed protesters.

  • “Even today, we think of the courageous women and men in Iran who – risking their lives – protest for freedom and democracy,” saidGerman MP Sabine Bätzing. “I have a pole Sponsorship for Shoaib Mirbaluchzehi Rigi and demand his release and an end to human rights violations.”
  • According to the state-run Entekhab daily, the U.S. dollar was traded above 410,000 rials in the unofficial market. The sharp increase in the foreign exchange rate ignited a political dispute in the regime’s parliament Majlis.
  • “Iranian protester Mohammad Ghobadlou, 22, risks being executed imminently after Supreme Court announced the decision to uphold his death sentence issued after a sham unfair trial,” announced Amnesty International. “Authorities must immediately halt plans to execute him and quash his death sentence.”
  • French MP Herve Saulignac condemned the summary executions in Iran, declaring political support for death-row protester Abbas Korkuri.
  • State-run media reported that at least 7,005 security forces, IRGC members, Basij paramilitary troops, and Ministry of Intelligence & Security agents were injured during the past three months.

Tehran Province:
Residents in homes of the capital’s Punak district are chanting anti-regime slogans. Source
