death-dealersDEATH DEALERS Leaked docs show 5,370 prisoners on Iran’s death row face being stoned to death and hung from cranes for petty crimes
HARROWING records leaked from Iran’s torturous prisons reveal 5,370 people are holed up on death row on charges as petty as drinking alcohol or insulting the Supreme Leader.
The Sun, June 19, 2022

The classified documents include 51 people condemned to vile stoning deaths and some 3,802 prisoners set to be executed on the country’s barbaric “eye for an eye” laws – known as Qisas.
Those condemned to Qisas are often maimed and executed by victims’ grieving families.
The cruel law is designed to inflict as much pain as possible in retaliation – including having eyes gouged out, hands chopped off and even the mass, public hangings.
Shock records, obtained by The Sun Online from sources of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) smuggled from inside Iran’s prisons, reveal the names, ages and charges of those on death row as of September 26, 2020. Read More

WSJ, June 22, 2022

WASHINGTON—Chinese, Middle Eastern and Western banks have provided banking services to Iran’s sanctioned energy and industrial sectors, corporate documents show, as part of Tehran’s efforts to steer capital toward its embattled economy and defy U.S. pressure to restrict its nuclear program.
Through a network of proxy companies, foreign exchange houses and intermediaries, Iran holds bank accounts that collectively transact tens of billions of dollars a year in trade that is otherwise banned under U.S. sanctions, according to Western diplomats, intelligence officials, corporate documents and bank statements. Fox News, June 22, 2022

Iran is threatening a possible assassination attempt on former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, with high-profile Twitter accounts posting inflammatory messages against him.

Pompeo, now a Fox News contributor, has been highly critical of Iran both while serving in the Trump administration and after. He was in office when U.S. forces killed Iranian military leader Qassem Soleimani, whose daughter is now threatening the former secretary of state.
“[P]ompeo whines about Iran on Saudi TV. Home of 9/11 plotters,” Zainab Soleimani tweeted Friday, adding, “Live in fear liar.” The tweet included an image depicting Pompeo in a cage. Read More

shah-iranIran’s mullahs are getting weird — some are openly embracing the Shah now
American Thinker, June 20, 2022 by F. Mahmoudi & P. Shafiee

Iran, a country full of history and civilization, has witnessed three major social revolutions on the path to establish independence, freedom, and a state based on the rule of law and the people’s vote.
However, to this day, despite vast efforts and grave sacrifices, the Iranian people have yet to reach this objective and been plunged into dictatorship each time.
The autocracies of Reza Shah and Mohammad Reza Shah followed the shortcomings of the Constitutional Revolution, between 1905 and 1911, and the oil nationalization movement led by former Iranian prime minister Dr. Mohammad Mosaddegh in 1951. The former led to a 16-year rule of dictatorship, and the latter, defeated by an American-British-led coup d’Ă©tat in 1953, resulted in a 37-year period of tyranny. Read More

VOA, June 22, 2022

GENEVA — U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned Iran’s increasing use of executions and the death penalty — including among children – in violation of international law. The secretary-general has deplored Tehran’s increasing use of executions and the death penalty, saying they are based on charges that do not amount to the “most serious crimes” and are incompatible with fair trial standards. Read more
