Iranian Americans and their friends rally to voice support for the Iranian people uprising outside the White House on Saturday, Jan 6, 2018

 

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, January 4, 2018, Iranian Americans will hold a rally in solidarity with the uprising in Iran at 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018, outside the White House.

Calling for the overthrow of the ruling religious dictatorship, as demanded by the protesters in Iran, the participants will also call on the U.S. administration and the international community to take specific and urgent measure to stop the Iranian regime’s brutal suppression of the freedom-seeking demonstrators in some 80 cities across Iran.

45, mostly youths, have been killed by the security forces and more than 2,000 have been arrested.
