Belgium_Iran Absurd “Agreement” Update

Since Friday July 1, when the news of a treaty with Iran broke, many Iranian Americans who were the target of the 2018 foiled bombing plot in Paris, having been holding all-day rally in front of the Embassy of Belgium to protest the government’s shameful deal with Iran intended for the release of an Iranian diplomat convicted of masterminding the bombing plot and is serving its 20-year sentence.
Saying that the deal with Iran is tantamount to yielding to hostage-diplomacy practiced by “religious fascism and terrorist murderers,” protesters describe the pending agreement as the “betrayal of democracy and human rights.”
Many of these Iranians have traveled from other states as far as California, Texas, Kansas, and Florida to voice their outrage.
These Iranians have also worked intensely with the U.S. Congress and many members of the both chambers of Congress have now criticized the deal, including Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), Chairman of Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), and a bipartisan group of House members. Nine U.S. national security experts have also condemned the Iran-Belgium deal. The criticism of the deal is indeed growing.
