Foreign Military Power Won’t Topple Regime, Only Resistance Will, Says Maryam Rajavi

Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the NCRI, warned that external force or pressure alone will not be the reason this regime falls. Rather, the Iranian people and the resistance will have to confront and defeat the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps).
“There will therefore be no spontaneous collapse,” she said. “The prerequisite for toppling the regime is the dismantling of the IRGC through an uprising and an organized resistance.”
