To Protest Unprecedented Wave of Political Executions & to Support a Democratic Republic in Iran
On Saturday June 20, 2026, more than 100,000 participants including Iranian American community members and supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran are expected to join a massive rally in Paris, France to protest against the unprecedented wave of political executions in Iran. These executions are occurring under the cover of external war and carried out to maintain an atmosphere of fear with the hope of preventing the emergence of another popular uprising.
The participants, including representatives of Iranian communities from across Europe and North America, along with their international supporters, will call for immediate intervention and effective international action to halt political executions in Iran. In 2025 alone, Iran accounted for over 80% off all global executions. More than 50 political prisoners are currently on death row. Thus far, no meaningful or practical measures have been taken by Western countries, including the European Union to stop this wave of executions.
A large number of political figures, including sitting French and European parliamentarians from various political parties, former European leaders and ministers, as well as former senior diplomatic and military officials from Europe and the United States, will participate in the event.
The rally will also express support for establishment of a democratic republic in Iran based on the separation of religion and state.
