Washington, DC — Members of Congress, congressional staff, and community leaders will gather on Tuesday, December 16, for a House Congressional Briefing and Holiday Reception focused on supporting the Iranian people’s struggle for a free, democratic, and non-nuclear republic.
The briefing will highlight bipartisan congressional efforts in support of human rights in Iran and the Iranian people’s right to determine their own future. Iranian American community leaders from across the United States will be in attendance to express their support for Members of Congress who have stood with the Iranian people.
The event will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the Cannon House Office Building and will include remarks from Members of Congress and invited speakers. A light holiday reception will follow the briefing.
Join us for a special briefing featuring a panel of distinguished speakers, bipartisan members of congress, and Iranian American Community leaders from across the country.
Together they will discuss the urgent need to rethink the U.S policy towards Iran —-and highlight the Iranian people’s call for a peaceful, democratic, non-nuclear future.
