A group of people gathered outside the United Nations in New York on Tuesday to protest the Iranian government on the first day of the annual UN General Assembly’s high-level meetings and speeches.
Protesters displayed images of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, depicting him with a snake’s head and holding skeletons and military drones.
The rally was organised by the Organisation of Iranian American Communities.
