❌NO Visa for Pezeshkian❌

Our statement➡️ August 15, 2025 Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) Calls for Barring the Iranian Regime’s President from Entry to New York August 15, 2025 The Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) calls on President Donald J. Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem to take immediate action to bar the entry of the Iranian regime’s delegation—led by its president Masoud Pezeshkian—into the United States for the upcoming United Nations General Assembly in New York. Masoud Pezeshkian, falsely portrayed as a “moderate,” is directly complicit in grave human rights violations. Since assuming office, he has presided over an alarming surge in executions and intensified repression. Over 1,600 prisoners, among them women and political prisoners, have been executed since he took office last August. Pezeshkian is continuing the regime’s violent legacy seen during the nationwide protests of 2021 and 2022, when repressive forces killed, blinded, and maimed thousands of peaceful demonstrators, many of them young people and women. Under Pezeshkian’s watch, two members of the main opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK)—Mehdi Hassani and Behrouz Ehsani-Eslamloo—were executed on July 27, 2025. These courageous political prisoners were subjected to sham trials, torture, and forced confessions. Their only “crime” was their unwavering commitment to freedom and democracy for Iran. These executions underscore the regime’s continued use of murder as a political weapon to silence dissent and crush opposition. Granting entry to Pezeshkian and his delegation would send the wrong signal to the Iranian regime inconsistent with America’s long-standing commitment to justice, liberty, and human rights. The Iranian people have made it clear: they reject this murderous regime in its entirety. OIAC has organized a rally of thousands of freedom-loving patriots to protest the Iranian regime’s human rights violations, terrorism, and development of weapons of mass destruction on September 23rd, across from the United Nations, as the UNGA session begins.
